AGCONN launches bilingual workforce platform serving California Central Valley farmworkers and growers

Visalia, CAApril 15, 2026

A bilingual workforce platform built for the California Central Valley pairs Spanish-first job search and skills certification with FLC-licensed employer verification.

AGCONN, a bilingual workforce platform serving California Central Valley farmworkers and the growers who hire them, launched today across Fresno, Tulare, Kern, Kings, and Madera counties. The platform combines Spanish-first job search and certification tracking with verified Farm Labor Contractor profiles, addressing two long-standing market frictions: workers struggling to demonstrate skills across short seasonal contracts, and growers struggling to verify the licensing status of contractors and applicants.

Every certificate earned through AGCONN — from forklift operation to pesticide handler to food-safety training — is bilingual, e-signed, and stored in a portable skills wallet that travels with the worker across employers and seasons. Employer profiles display verified CA FLC license numbers, MSPA registration, and current bond status, refreshed annually against the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement registry.

AGCONN is built for daily life in the field. The mobile-first interface works on low-end Android devices over patchy cellular, supports SMS-based notifications for workers without smartphones, and presents every screen in Spanish and English without forcing a language choice. The platform integrates with workforce board reporting requirements under WIOA, allowing partners to fulfill federal data obligations without parallel manual entry.

Founders developed AGCONN over the past 18 months in close collaboration with farmworker advocacy organizations, growers ranging from family operations to multi-county FLCs, and three regional workforce development boards. The platform launches with bilingual job posts from a pilot cohort of growers and certified training programs from CDFA, F3, and CalOSBA partners.

AGCONN is available immediately at agconn.com. Workers can create a free profile in under three minutes by phone or web. Growers and Farm Labor Contractors can request a verified employer profile through the same domain.
