Bilingual Promotora Lead

Lead the promotora program — a network of trusted bilingual community workers who help farmworkers create profiles, redeem certifications, and navigate AGCONN in person. Field-based role with the AGCONN community team.

What you'll do

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 8–12 bilingual promotoras across Fresno, Tulare, and Madera counties.
  • Develop and run training curriculum so promotoras can confidently support workers through profile creation, document upload, and certification redemption.
  • Build relationships with farmworker advocacy groups, churches, and community organizations that serve as trusted on-ramps to AGCONN.
  • Report monthly on enrollment volume, profile completion quality, and field feedback that should reach product and engineering teams.

What we're looking for

  • Native or near-native Spanish, with cultural fluency in Mexican-Spanish dialects common in the Central Valley.
  • 3+ years of community organizing, promotora program management, outreach, or case-management experience with low-income or immigrant populations.
  • Comfort with smartphones, basic data entry, and willingness to learn the AGCONN platform deeply enough to teach it.
  • Reliable transportation. Field visits across counties are expected weekly.

Nice to have

  • Lived experience as a farmworker or a member of a farmworker household.
  • Existing trusted relationships in Fresno or Tulare county farmworker communities.
